Learning to wear your new denture takes TIME and PATIENCE.

Your mouth will fill fuller, you may experience a gagging sensation or you may have more saliva in your mouth than you are used to.

This is normal and will eventually go away throughout your adaptation process.  You will be training your muscles to get use to this new shape, which will take a little time.

Lower dentures usually take much more time to adjust to than upper dentures.

If a sore spot(s) do not go away after 1 or 2 days, please contact the office for an adjustment appointment.
